Full Course (FC)

See a list of courses with the FC attribute.  

• A full course is four credits.

Half Course (HC)

See a list of courses with the HC attribute.  

• A half course is two credits.
• Some labs, mini-courses, modules, and some private readings will be half courses.

Quarter Course (QC)

 See a list of courses with the QC attribute.  

• A quarter course is a one-credit Conservatory academic course.
• Quarter courses may not be cross-listed and are not co-curricular courses.

Co-Curricular (CC)

 See a list of courses with the CC attribute.  

• Co-curricular courses are those pursued in addition to the normal course of study and vary in credit ranging from 0.5 to two credits.
• Co-curricular courses may satisfy degree requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree , Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Fine Arts dual degree program , Bachelor of Science degree , Bachelor of Music degree , and Double Degree Program . Please consult the separate degree requirements contained within this catalog.
